Help with Old advert

Hi All
Funny stupid question here that I hope someone can help for some piece of mind with one of my friends.
Basically he is racking his brains around an advert from a number of years back.
The Add starts where a young guy goes into a barber to look for a haircut like celebrity X.
The barber gives him a completely different haircut and the young lad says that his hair is not like that of celebrity X and the barber replies that it is when celebrity X comes into his shop.
We think the barber then shows the young lad a picture of himself (the barber) and celebrity X with the strange haircut.

So question is can anybody remember who celebrity X is.

Hopefully all of the above makes sense and it rings a bell with someone

Was it in recent years? I remember one for Castlemaine XXX from the early 90s just like that where the celebrity was Lionel Blair. Sounds like this one ripped it off.
