Looking to become familiar with the energy requirements of the Building Regulations and related topics such as Air tightness. At this point im not interested in BER or BR Compliance certification.
Any advice on where to start - Part L and TGD L? CIF guide?
I'm familiar with 'old style' construction e.g insulated cavity walls, attic ventilation strips but am ignorant of topics like heat recovery and solar panels.

if your looking to learn how to calculate u values and air tightness , google "tipp energy u values" there is a few modules that are made easy to follow

or the DEAP manual explains everything too, as does Part L.
