I thought it was interesting to note the increase in abortion since the 8th Amendment was repealed. According to this article the number of abortions was 6,666 last year.

In 2017 (which was quite a high year) there were 3,061 abortions.

It seems to me like the public have been lied to. For example the abortionrightscampaign claimed at the time of the referendum that:

"Restrictive abortion laws are not associated with lower abortion rates. In fact the statistics point to a correlation between restrictive abortion laws and higher abortion rates "

Will we be receiving an apology?

Newsdumps and one-liners are not a suitable threads for this forum. Locked.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.
