Just realised that I don’t have my Vehicle Registration Boom, Registration Cert or Licensing Cert for my NCT today... generally speaking are you asked for them?

Given your username you could always stage a sit in/protest.

Seriously though... If you have used the test centre in the past they may not look for documents, sometimes it can depend on the person on the desk.

If you don't have them do you know where they are ? I mean in general are they at home or are they missing and in need of reordering?

Literally just realised they are missing. I thought they were in glove compartment in car but they’re not there. Pulled house apart and can’t find them.

I've never been asked for it, either way they will test the car and just not give the cert until you present the VLC if they require viewing of it. Normally it's used if say you present a car with 2 rear seat belts and they then want to inspect VLC to see if it says 2 rear seats or 3.

That's all the different names for the one document no?

I've never had to present the VLC but that could be just luck of the draw, they'll do the test regardless, if you don't have the vlc on you might not get the the disc/cert off them - if you have to apply for a replacement it doesn't take long, max 2 working weeks.

Are you leaving the VLC and other car related docs in the glove box all the time?
