Re-taxing my car

    Hi i have my car signed off the road & i am looking to put it back on for 1st of july can i pay the tax now online or do i have to wait till the start of next month.

    Wait till the 1st, if you tax today you pay for June.

    ok thanks i was just thinking if i paid now i would have the cert back in time if i am pulled on the road.

    Take a screen shot or have the confirmation email handy.

    There is a separate offence for non display of Tax so you can still get a ticket if parked or meet a Garda on a bad day.

    Ok thanks again it will be next monday before i get cert if i buy it this wednesday i suppose .
