Repairs to External Insulation

I'm looking to get some repairs done to external insulation on our house. The company that did the work over 10 years ago are no longer trading, and I'm finding that other vendors won't take on repairs to insulation they didn't install. They're not huge repairs, but i want them done right at the house is being sold in the next year.

Anybody encountered this? Or have an suggestions/recommendation of people who might be interested in the work?

    Thanks.

How big are the repairs or where on the building are they?

Would a local builder be able to do it? Replace the insulation part and plaster over it?

What form does the damage take? Is it just damage to the render with minor surface damage to the insulation, or are there large prices of insulation missing?

If it is the former, you just need a plasterer with acrylic render experience. If it is the latter, you need an external insulation company (or go DIY).

Possibly, but i'd want to know they knew what they were at which is why i;ve been contacting Insulation outfits.

There a section at the front of the house where a car dented the lip about 18" from the ground. It's not deep but it doesn't look great. The rest is just minor surface render touch-ups.

In that case, I would go with a good acrylic render plasterer. They will have lots of experience in this kind of repair - dents from cars, sliotors etc. are remarkably common in externally-insulated houses.
