Samsung A10 Phone randomly rebooted after SD card malfunctioned?

Last week, my phone stopped recognising the SD card. This was fixed by removing and re inserting the SD in the phone. This morning, my phone rebooted itself. My SD card is a 32GB. Could the SD card be faulty and causing my phone my reboot itself? Thanks.
