I really loved this series until S5.

The axe splitting bullet trick to kill 2 zombies just turned it in to a sitcom.

    Shame!

Surely the fact that the dead were walking means that the shark had been jumped on day one.

    Jumped the shark now?

The shows been a total joke for the past 4 or 5 odd seasons. It turned into a daytime soap when Negan arrived on the scene, and that was what...season 7? They're on 11 now I think.

I liked it up to and including the 1st episode of S7, but after that it just went down like a lead balloon into a bottomless pit. Corny dialogue, terrible acting, horrible plots, and in some cases, entire episodes would go by with barely a sighting of a zombie.

I struggled through some seasons after that, but it took me forever to get through them, and I haven't seen any of the latest season and probably never will.

Ah, sorry my bad. I stopped watching that around S3, not because it was bad but I just got fatigued between it and TWD. Though Seasons 2 and 3 of FTWD were much better than the main show.

I can't believe it's still going. I Don't know anyone that watches it any more.

Spent a season and a half with it and just gave up. Just seemed to be retreading the original's path and not anywhere as well.

I got to the bit with a ranch and the group of native Americans. It just bored me tbh and never went back.
I thought it had some promise especially the strand character but tailed off midway through season 3.
The son character who was the drug addict at start was particularly painful.

Having said all this i will still check out the other spin off when it is eventually released
