    but I have put back up for sale on adverts as unable to get the diagnostic done on the rear mech

    Are you saying if you bought a new 7970 RD the whole setup would work fine?

    Hi Paul.


    That is my understanding but the problem is there like gold dust there was only 1 available yesterday in the UK on e bay and that has ended it was 2nd hand and expensive



    None to be got anywhere across Europe and believe me i have tried :(



    I bought 2 days ago but i was unaware at the time the cabling AND Diagnostics tool were completely different to the current DI2



    The 7970 was a complete one off hence why it is not cross compatible


    I have 2 other di2 group-sets and the Pc Linkage for Diagnostics
