Anyone ever get alloys (no tyres fitted) couriered from the UK to here?

Who would be a good start? I've looked at a few online but they only price for small parcels up to 5kg.

Maybe they do free UK delivery? if so try parcel motel, if the package will not fit in the motel, you can pick up oversize parcels at the depot.

An post do similar with address pal, get the parcel delivered to your new UK address and an post will deliver to your door or you collect at your post office, I think 25 kg limit, an alloy is generally under 10 kg.

Thanks. Its an ebay sale and he wanted pickup only but will do me the favour of wrapping them up for a courier if I arrange.

Also. It's a set of four...

    I use both for ebay,

Last time it was for a baby buggy/chair and 2 base's for the car in 2 boxes, each big enough for a wheel and a half, it was very reasonable, to get them delivered inside the UK would be cheap and the cheapest way to get them here is the 2 I mentioned.

A courier to do a pick up in the UK and deliver here is not going to be cheap.

    Try a pallet service maybe

    https://www.parceldirect.ie/

try this crowd, I used them recently to send stuff to canada.

Through work we can collect 30kg parcels from the UK for about €15 with DPD. That will give you an idea of prices.

Pallet is another option, but a pallet from the UK to Ireland will cost about €80 to €100

The price a company pays though an account etc. and the price a walk-in pays will be radically different.

Of course but just to give an idea, I wouldn't do high volume to the UK so my discount would be average.
