Jobseekers Application

    my young lad was let go from his job at the end of april and he applied online for jobseekers and 3weeks ago i told him he would need to get back onto them and see how long more his application would be, only to find out he fu@@ed up his application and they had no record of if:mad: anything he can do to try and get them 6 weeks back?

    Yep, just apply again. It should have a section asking if he wants it backdated and why. Just be honest and say he did apply but did it wrong and the date he did apply and the date he contacted them and was told they had no record of it. The deciding officers have some discretion in backdating claims. They may ask for proof of his end date of work.

    How old is he? I’d be worried honestly the application is about as straight forward as it gets...
