Working and receiving PUP

I applied for the PUP approximately 6 weeks ago, got nothing until last week. I got 350 into my account but thought it was a refund for something else I was due, checked my account yesterday again to see I got another 350 and the refund came through late last week.

Thing is I started a new job two weeks ago and got paid last Friday, and I'll be paid this Friday again. I didn't think to cancel my application because I presumed it had been rejected because I was waiting for so long. So, what should I do? Tbh I'd like to get another week or two out of it to make up for the weeks I was waiting for my application to go through but I'm afraid that revenue will catch me earning / receiving the payment and I'll be penalised. Has anyone heard of that happening yet?

Yes, if you are paying tax on your earnings the DEASP will be notified by revenue and you will be contacted by DEASP and will have to pay them back. Go online and close your claim, if you were unemployed for onr day in a payment week you will receive the full week PUP.
