    Reason I ask is I dont see any DSL port for my phone line. I got loan of one from friend and before I buy it I am trying to see if it will work. There is an internet port which seems to be just an RJ45 size connection. Router gives error that WAN port is not connected

    Note the "Cable Router" in the name, This is NOT for DSL. This is for non-DSL system (like cable) were the Internet providers equipement give you a LAN RJ45 connection.

    To use this, you would need a seperate DSL "modem" or i would imagine there is a DSL version of this product.
