    Hi.
My wife is about 6 weeks pregnant. Previously had an ectopic pregnancy. All was well until today when symptoms came about. Should she go to A&E or the maternity hospital that she has a referral letter for? I'm a bit unsure as the last time she was abroad and it was an emergency scenario. Any guidance appreciated.

Get her to the maternity hospital ASAP. Once it is pregnancy related, any normal hospital would send her there anyway. You could even phone in advance for advice but maternity hospitals have early pregnancy units for this sort of thing. The previous ectopic pregnancy would be a red flag for them calling her in. Best of luck.
