    Planetside 2 if you're into online FPS (but on a massive scale, with tanks and aircraft of varying types). There's honestly nothing like it out there, it's not without it's issues for sure, but I love it. Free.

    Crusader Kings 2 is free to play. It's quite a complex game though.

    I’ll second this, get in with an outfit that has a discord server though and organizes it makes the game feel properly meta to be in an outfit versus randomly soloing out in the world.

    Watchdogs 2 is free of you register with Ubisoft. It was only supposed to be free to those watching their event yesterday but they are giving it out to everyone who registers.
