Minecraft texture pack "Download Failed"?

My kids have been trying to download a texture pack called "Tropical City Resort" since last night but it keeps failing after trying to import it..

They have a 1TB machine with lots of free storage on it, and the money left my account for the pack last night when they initially clicked on the pack.

I have googled the life out of it, but there seems to be very little info on the net, so hoping someone on here with more experience than me with PS4s and Minecraft might have an idea.

    Thanks.

May be misreading the memory. Can you delete something to try again?

There is a suggestion that deleting and reinstalling minecraft might work. Double check first you are happy that their worlds will all still be there once it is reinstalled. By all accounts they should be, but check it out for yourself first.

How do I do that though, Minecraft is a physical game disc rather than a download.

Sorry but not really up to speed on this.

Even physical disc versions still install on the system. On the PS4 home screen go to the Minecraft game icon. Press the options button on the controller. There should be an option to upload/download saved data. Once thats done there should also be an option to delete. Once thays done and you reinsert the disc it should start reinstalling itself.

Will try this now and report back, thanks for your help. About ten years ago I'd have flown through this stuff, but not a gamer anymore and it's a bit over my head now lol

Cmon dude, hang in there, remember we used to load games from cassette where they would fail after about 40 mins right at the end - stay strong you can do this

I don't see Tropical City Resort on the PlayStation Store, only the PC version

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you bought the PC version of the texture pack, and assumed it would be compatible with the PS4 version of Minecraft? If you did, then unfortunately it is not

Only Minecraft content that is available on the PS Store is compatible with the PS4 version of Minecraft
