Commute from clane to merrion Square Dublin.. Best option train or bus??

Hi all. Im starting a new job in a week. I used to commute from clane kildare to Shannon Co Clare. My new job is in Dublin City centre. Can you advise if the train from sallins or the bus from clane is the recommended option? with social distancing I suspose things have changed too.. 😕Before covid, I heard of parking issues and trains flying past people in sallins. I expect to be working from home for part of the week due to covid but interested in hearing from regular commuters. I may have the option to go from maynooth from September as a friend can drop me there. So I have a few options. Many thanks

I’d give Sallins to Pearse Station in Westland Row a go if it works. Current timetable here and timetabled trains mustn’t go sailing past.

The 120 bus is convenient for Clane but takes longer and most terminate outside Connolly Station/Busaras.

Thank you very much. This is very helpful. I've driven motorway for years so the change to public transport is a big one for me. At least there are a few options.
