    Hello

I hope everyone is safe and is making the most of the lifting of the restrictions responsibily.

We will be heading with the family to Donegal (Falcarragh area) for a few days, on a slow paced, staycation where wildlife observation will be at the top of the agenda.

I have a good idea about what to expect and where to look for birds (regardless my ability to find them!), but I can with some local knowledge about the likelihood to get some mammals / distribution.

I do know who difficult is to find some of them, I suppose what I am looking for is to see if I should not even bother with some of them as they are just not there. Off course I would love specific tips, but you don't ask for those in public forums :) unless you know the poster for long enough and trust him.

-Hedgehogs (I have never seen one in the wild!)
    -Badgers
    -Pine Martin

Also, does anyone know if Ards Forest Park is acccesible at night, and if parking at Ards Friary is ok ?

    Thanks

If you can get a day trip to Tory Island, you will see Corncrake ( heard one at Fanad Lighhouse today ) and Puffins, Glenveagh has eagles , never seen one in all the times ( 100's ) I have been there but you never know.
As for Ards, the car park is closed at night but you can still access it.

    Enjoy your stay.
