Hi guys- would anyone be able to give a rough price on how much it would cost to turn the front garden of my terraced house into a parking space. Literally just big enough to fit my car. Would have to knock the wall and railing and pave.

You'll need planning permission to knock your front wall, my neighbour had to apply for it. (South Dublin CC).
Get a good few quotes from reputable companies that specialise in this type of work and what finish you want, if its cement. And ask to see their previous work if they are good they'll have no problem with it.
Drainage, manhole covers, water run off etc will play a part in it.
Aviod the tarmac guys..you know the ones!

Planning permission to create a vehicular entrance. Depending on who you use, maybe €1k all in five or take a hundred. Remember different LA’s have different max widths allowed. DCC is 3.6m for example, SDCC is 3.5m based on the last few I’ve lodged.

Then the actual work. Depending on the size of garden and what finish. Concrete print, stone slabs, paving etc maybe €5k. Probably a bit less depending on size.

If you get permission try to use a mixture of hard surface where the wheels actually touch the ground, and a more porous area which is never driven on. I'm assuming you will be just reversing in and driving out and not turning inside.
This helps with the drainage and prevents too much water runoff.

You could use gravel and even plant ground hugging plants especially is the car is mostly absent.

The development will have to have an element of SUDs anyway, so permeable paving, soft landscaping will all be mandatory.

Just an advice, if you want to keep your costs low, choose the right paving material - this one is what usually significantly impacts the price of this kind of project. Basically, if you choose paving slabs as compared to gravel or tarmac, expect to spend more.
