Pine Marten Swords

    The other day while driving down the Swords bypass near the Estuary roundabout, I could have sworn that I saw a pine marten cross the road and disappear into the central reservation. It was too big to be a rat, brown in colour and white on it's underside. It didn't look like a cat.

    There was a Mink farm in Drynam many years ago . A lot of them were set free when it closed down .
