Case IH jx100u fuel filter

    Changing fuel filters on case jx100u , there is a sensor on the bottom filter does it screw out ? or do I need to get a new filter with sensor complete

    Water in fuel sensor. Screw it out and into the base of the new one. Don’t go too much or it may break.
    Worst case, leave it connected and cable tie back onto a line or harness somewhere and leave the bung in the new filter.

    Thanks. I thought it was that ok but it will not unscrew out of the old filter. It twists freely but thats all. thanks again
