Back to single Social Welfare payments?

    We have been in receipt of Illness Benefit since shortly before lockdown and the announcement for new fortnightly payments was made. This morning (our regular payment day), there was only a single payment - as in for one week. I can't see anything online suggesting that payments are returning to normal and also have received no correspondence from the department (relevant sick certs have been forwarded and accepted so there's no other obvious reason).

    Anyone else been switched back to weekly payments?

    My mother is on Invalidity payment and still got 2 weeks this week.

    We get paid on Saturday, but our scheduled payment day is next Monday (no idea why it gets lodged earlier). Looks like we will have a call to make!

    Check to make sure your cert hasn't expired, and that all certs have been received by the Department.
