Hi, we are currently considering buying a site with full planning permission. Permission was granted for three houses and they are being sold separately. My query is in relation to the council contribution fee. Is this paid already by the owner of the site when he/she applied for the planning or are we liable to pay this if we purchase the site?
    Thanks

Your solicitor should clear up if this is paid.
It attaches the actual building not the permission.

You're liable to pay if your purchasing the site and activating the permission

Its not paid when applying for permission, it's something that's becomes due when the commencement notice is submitted
