Does anyone knoe if its Possible to Remove the PVC Surround from around the windows in the Attached Images.

Would it just be convrete under them in which case they could be painted or would it require a plasterer .

    Any thoughts appreciated.

If you took out the entire pvc frame you would most likely be left with an assortment of edges of that facing, edges of timber framing and the plaster on the inside. None of which would be left very tidy as the pvc frame came out. It would need some work before it could be painted. What are you trying to do?

Cheers for response . We just got new windows in and went with a cream color for the frame . The pvc is a strong white color and they kind of clash. Long story short the Mrs isn't happy with the pvc 😛. She wants to paint around them the same color as the house.

I'm not really following what you are doing. You have white (old) pvc and cream new pvc? What are you proposing to paint?

Oh! strike that, you are wanting to take down the pvc wood effect round the windows? And also put in new cream pvc windows? If you take off the plastic cladding you will find (most likely) a timber frame covered with some sort of building 'paper' - you will have to replace the plastic facing with more plastic or timber cladding.

It will most likely be a timber build up with timber boarding.
A specialist roofer would be able to remove it and re
Finish it in A selected material.

It’s not as straight forward as you think as the bird underneath may not be suitable for the finish you want.

But best bet is to get it check on site to work out the build up.

    Just paint it dark grey.
