Looking to get some advice on what I should advertise our second run around car for
Don't want to overprice it and also don't want to sell myself short, as we have no need for a quick sale, but would like to get rid of it now as we no longer use it since the start or Covid 19 etc

its Audi A3 1.6 Special Edition - Automatic
    100BHP 1600CC
    2007
    5 Door Hatchback
    Petrol
    NCT until September
    192k Kilometres on the clock

Needs a little work - probably needs a new battery and some TLC as there are a few scrapes and scratches on it but nothing major
good runner and the engine purrs along. Economical and is comfortable but alas we dont need it now as 1 car in the house is enough under current circumstances

    I'd say ask 2.5k, take 2k.

If you are inside 90 days until the NCT in September putting it through now will give you a year from September and make the car more attractive for sale. Also with Covid restrictions the printed expiry date from those due March 2020 onwards was extended by 4 months so check at NCT.ie what yours is now, if yours is now January 2021 as a result it will be easier to sell.

was thinking of asking 2K and taking 1750 as min.
Looking at the car again there is probably 300-400 worth of work required (one dent/scratch over wheel arch and a few small scratches here and there)
Will pop it up on Donedeal and see how it goes

Great tip about the NCT - just checked and its not due until Jan 2021.

€570 tax is the killer with those. I would put it up for €2300 or something and take €2k

Tax should be €514 on that?

    I think it’s a €1250-1500 car really. It’s quite basic.

I'm more in the 1k range for that, no hope of over 2k
