So a bit of a long post:

A few weeks after lockdown my ex and I put our money together and bought our daughter a Nintendo switch as an early birthday gift. About two weeks later her little sister broke the charging port. I sent it into Nintendo UK to get repaired (over a month now). They had it for 4 weeks before they told me the problem and price to fix it. They said payment could only be done over the phone. I called them and a message came in saying that the lines were disabled because of COVID. Emailed them back, after a few days they then tell me yes their phone lines are disabled and payment must be a bank transfer. They gave me their UK bank details without an IBAN number. I emailed again saying that I needed an IBAN. A few days later I get a reply that they don’t have one and again give me their UK bank details. This was Friday evening, so I had to wait until Monday. I go to the bank on Monday, the teller gets the proper bank details for me and I send the money. I used the banks computer and took a picture of the screen to send in another emailing letting them know they will have their money soon (not sure if that was ok to do, but I was just fed up with them giving me the run around and wanted proof). Tonight I get another email saying that payment still hadn’t been made and I had 7 more days or else they would ship back my daughters switch. They also stated that all Republic of Ireland customers should make payment to their German bank account.

This is where my problem comes in.
    A. They never mentioned that the two times I asked for their bank details
    B. They knew I was in Ireland because they had all of my information when they sent me the repair box
    C. I cannot get a refund on the first payment and I cannot really afford having to pay it again (€60)

I am waiting to hear back from them, but I am livid. I feel that they are giving me the run around. I emailed them back saying they never informed me of having to pay into a German bank account, that I want a manager to contact me tomorrow with confirmation they received my money in their British account.

If they still give me the run around is there anything I can do?
