    1: Have a day job
2: Send demos to every commercial production/PD in the country
3: Wait. And keep waiting. You will likely never get called.

You could also try an agency like Voicebank but its still rather unlikely.

Too many people think there's easy money in it (there isn't), too many big brands want recognised names and too many smaller advertisers simply won't pay for it so station staff get used.

I remember some years ago,if you wanted any hope of doing a voiceover for an agency, you had to have an Equity card...

You also have to compete with the radio stations that do that stupid voice swap or whatever they call it. Basically as part of your contract for the station you work in you have to do voiceovers for free for other stations because they are too mean to pay the jock a few extra bob!!!

Create a profile on ACX and start offering to do Audiobooks on a revshare basis (which is attractive to publishers who don't have to pay you up front). Its a lot of work, but its polished content you can use as a showcase / demo.

In a world where everyone is in search of something.

One man decides enough is enough.

    Pirateradioed is, The Voiceover Man.
