travel insurance wife pregnant

    we booked our holiday and our travel insurance in january. gold package. 123.ie. my wife became pregnant in april. in current circumstances, we think it wouldnt be wise to travel. spain, september. can our insurance cover ? everything paid upfront

    I'm not an expert but I can't imagine change of mind is covered.
    Best to talk to your insurance company.

    We had something similar happen to us a couple of years ago, we booked a trip to South Africa a month before we found out my wife was pregnant, due to fly 2-3 months before due date. My travel insurance with Irish Life covered my cancelled trip due to ny wife being unable to travel, but her own didnt cover her! Check the small print or call them, policies may differ from company to company.

    rang my insurance today. said they would cover, just get medical cert from doctor. very happy with that
