    Hi folks,

This has probably been asked 100 times but can anyone steer me to a good link to access online radio.

I googled it and got loads of links of radio stations all over the world but a lot of them wouldn't work or the websites were just packed with ads ..... no simple way to "listen live now"

And are online stations really streaming live like what you would hear on your regular radio?
I listened to one or two and it was just song after song after song. No DJ chiming in between tracks to add his/her 2cents worth. Made me wonder is it was just a load of songs automatically looping.

So I'd just like to listen live to some radio station in some exotic faraway place like Jamaica or Tasmania and listen to the music but also listen to their banter, people calling in, bit of local news....stuff like that.

    Thanks for any feedback.

You could try the Radio Garden app:
    http://radio.garden/

It has stations from around the world (including Ireland) - some automated, some with deejays.
