Testosterone test in Ireland

Is it true that GP's are reluctant to do it? I had problems with masturbation, getting erections and orgasm until 19. My friends told me it wasn't normal so I went to my GP asking for a test cause I've read maybe my testosterone levels were low.

Got told things were fine but I asked for FOI requests from my GP clinic for something unrelated and learned they never performed it. Is this typical for doctors? I came across a post here where someone said the same thing.

go to a nurse in a doctors clinic cheaper then going to a doc and specify what you want looked for, e.g testosterone estrogen dht etc. The sex hormones are evaluated using a blood test.

Testosterone testing is done by completing a blood test.

You’re doctor should be able to take a blood sample and send it to a lab for testing.

If you have the money you could see a endocrinologist. They would be considered experts in matters like these.
