What would happen in the following scenarios:

    Scenario I:

A person is caught speeding 3 times at various times and locations, they now have 9 points. They are caught for a 4th time and choose to dispute it in court. The judge rules against them. They are given 5 more points. Now they have 14 points.

They must serve a ban. Are all 14 points expunged after the ban? Or will the 12 be wiped leaving the driver with 2 points and a previous ban.

    Scenario II:

A person is foolish enough to be caught for an 8th time before the first FCPN arrives in the post.
They will have 24 points after payment of the 8th fine.

Will they serve two consecutive bans or just one? Will all points be wiped after?
Or will the person have 12 points when they're allowed to drive again?

Do the points carry over to the bike?

My understanding is that following the ban, points are reset to zero. Even without an appeal, it's possible that a person on 11 points could commit an offense that results in 3 points. Following a ban, I believe they would have no points.

I'm open to correction on that, I've never been in the situation.
