Raleigh Rod Brake handle bars, centre pull - I’m restoring a 1950’s high nellie but I’ve a broken return spring on the brake levers - an impossible piece to source. I’m looking for replacement handlebars, condition is not important as long as the brake levers all work

    Unfortunately they have closed

It is with regret that I wish to inform you all that we have had to take the decision not to re-open for business, and to close our doors permanently. As a result of the forced closure of the business due to Covid-19, and the uncertain times ahead, the difficult decision has been made to close our doors completely. We’d like to thank all of our customers over the years for their custom, and wish you all the very best of health going forward.
    Warmest regards

Ahhh fe(k. Sorry to see a bike business close as a result of the pandemic, when so many others are thriving. i suppose they were a niche operation, in fairness....

Maybe try Marty in the High Nelly Centre, Pallasgreen, Co Limerick?
He does a lot of restoration work/custom builds, so may have parts to sell?

I'm also restoring a high nelly rod braked bike for a friend. I've taken the handlebars off coz they are very rusty so the owner wants to buy a new set.

I can dismantle them and send you any components you want once I get the new set. That may take a week or so.
