Moving Domain

Hi. Hoping someone can help me out here. I have a domain hosted by namecheap. I’ve just made a wix website and I’m going to transfer the domain to use on the wix website. Does anyone know will the email address for this domain still work via namecheap or will I lose access to it.

Who is your DNS registrar?
If it is namecheap and you are just editing the "A Record" to point to wix, it may still work.
Though, it depends on where your email resides (you can check where your mx records are here https://mxtoolbox.com/) and what you are paying for to namecheap, etc.

Don't transfer the domain if you want to keep your email with namecheap.

As NoDrama suggested, use this method instead:

https://support.wix.com/en/article/connecting-a-domain-to-wix-using-the-pointing-method

You could move your DNS to wix then repoint your email back to namecheap, that just feels unnecessarily messy.
