Birkenhead to Belfast ferry

    If the government don't do away with this ridiculous self isolate restriction by this weekend ill have to take this grim overnight ferry trip then a coach to Dublin the next morning, ive nothing booked back just yet, has anyone done this before, without having to spend money on a cabin if ive to travel on this overnight ferry can you get a kip at all, any other info appreciated?

    The method you use to enter the county is irrelevant, you are not exempt from the rules that everyone else has to abide by.

    No self isolating if arriving from NI as the OP intends to. It is a loophole in the law.

    Most of those overnight ferries make cabins mandatory. Otherwise it will be hard to get some kip.

    cheers, i dont think you have to actually get a cabin as such , i would but the price of them put me off, ill just have to grin and bear it otherwise if i need to travel back this way.
