    Hi,

3000sq ft house new build A2. Atw and underfloor heating. Heat recovery.

We have plenty of land and good light. Would it be of any financial benefit to look at possibly putting a load of solar panels or wind turbines up to fully supply or our house needs?

Or is it just not viable atm.

    Thanks.

Depends on how much you use/is there someone at home everyday
Won’t qualify for the grant so self install/ get your own roofer/electrician in is cheaper that using one of the SEAI installers
If a FIT comes in becomes more viable again
There is also the greener element of my using gas/oil/coal/nuclear if that floats your boat
