    Hi all

We moved into a new build estate in Navana year ago, and most of it is still under construction.

However we've noticed that they've changed the planning for the front of the estate from a mix of semi detached hoses and terraces to large 3 story apartment block.

This will make the estate look awful and will drive traffic congestion up on the only access road into the estate.

Are they able to alter the plans so much without rasing a new planning permission? Are we able to object to these changes does anyone know?

No, they require Planning Permission, alongside a Fire Safety Certificate and Disability Access Certificate possibly.

There’s no way a developer done this without planning as the risks far out way the outcome. Are you sure no planning was lodged?
