Just put a dent on the bumper of our brand new car. I was barely moving but still got a decent dent. Watched a few YouTube videos of plungers to fix the dents. Has anyone tried this before? Would like to get it sorted before the Hubbie sees it. Worried I'll do more damage but don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

Assuming its a plastic bumper? I had success removing a dent once on a bumper with the plunger method. If you are attempting this, it is really important to warm up the damaged area and make it pliable by pouring hot water on it. Otherwise you risk cracking it. The finished result won't look absolutely perfect, but it can be pretty good. Finish with some t-cut to reduce paint scuffs.

Yeah, if you're lucky it'll come out as new.

Pics or at least the make and model of the car?
