Drywall Insulation and Installation

    Hi there,

Just a quick question about Dry Lining insulation.

We have an issue with a contractor who installed insulated plasterboard on the external walls in our house. We believe that it is not a satisfactory installation (gaps between boards, gaps between boards and ceiling, no insulation around windows, boards sitting on concrete flooring, etc.) and we asked for it to be rectified. Basically, we were told that we didn't know what we were talking about and they refused do do anything about it and ended their contract with us.

My query is - we will need to get this fixed before we plaster the walls. Would it be better to take all the boards out and get someone in to start the process from scratch or is it possible to repair incorrectly installed drywall?

    Thanks!
