Cash machine retained lodfement to account

    Hi

    I was lodging over 440 euro to my account and the machine said there was a jam and that the money has being retained.

    I contacted a member of staff of the branch that I was lodging and they just took down details from my card and phone number and said it would be in my account tonight.

    They did not give any receipt or anything and I am just wondering what the process is in this situation

    Hi Tv2013, thanks for contacting us here on Boards.ie. 

    Generally the procedure would be that the branch staff would check the lodgement machine and then make this lodgement manually to your account in order to rectify this. 

    If you could send us a private message confirming your name as it is on your account, your account holding branch, the branch that you made this lodgement at and your mobile number we’d be happy to forward this on to the branch for you.
