Internal phone system

    Hi,

    Would anyone have an idea of how to set up a free/cheap internal phone system using something like Google Hangouts/Meet?

    For a school situation to allow teachers to call other rooms.

    Trying to avoid cross contamination in a Corona Virus world!

    Yes. Thats an option.

    Not the best option in a busy classroom.

    Is there any system to use a phone/other that might ring to notify the teacher of the message?

    Freepbx, and sip clients on teachers mobiles.

    Don't expose it to the outside world, and don't have any trunks on it, sorted.
