Redundancy Withdrawal

I was made redundant in March, due to the upcoming sale of the business. I was given four weeks notice up until the beginning of April.

I was talking to my manager at the end of April and apparently the sale fell through but the business wouldn't be opening back up because of lack of funds, but I've not heard anything since then.

I've heard from another employee that the owner plans to cancel all redundancies. I was just wondering can an employer do this? Can they cancel a redundancy 3 months later?

I've not received any payment for redundancy or notice so far.
