    Hello
About 3 weeks ago myself and fiancé ordered a divan and headboard from a big company on Facebook. They divan parts were delivered 2 weeks ago but not thr headboard. The delivery guy said he would go and get it and have it to us next day. We paid in cash.
After he left i took off the packaging only to notice that the clips that hold in the wheels were missing from one half. We rang the company and they said they would replace the damaged half and deliver headboard at same time.
However the next day turned into that weekend and continues now. I contacted them several times and theres always a new excuse on the delay.
Last week we were told it was with the delivery company and we would have it yesterday or today but nothing arrived. I have contacted 3 times today looking for the delivery date and delivery companys details. My messages were seen by seller but not replied too.
We understand that covid 19 has slowed down things but enough is enough now i think. We were wondering if there's anything we can do or say to legally get our items or even to have the the damaged part collected and get or money back.
    Thanks in advance

Did you buy it in a shop or by distance? If the latter, exercise your consumer rights under distance selling regs for a refund. This is easier than arguing that it is not of merchantable quality although I suspect that would not be difficult to establish either.

Sometimes I find being firm on the phone delivers wonders.
