Power steering belt replacement cost?

    Hi folks

    Just wondering if anybody knows how much I could be expecting to pay to have a new power steering belt replaced and fitted?

    It’s an 11 reg Opel insignia and I lost the power steering on Saturday. Recovery man found the belt sitting on the engine and said it’s not a biggie to fix.

    Only asking as I’m currently on illness benefit due to heart problems and need to see can I afford to get it sorted this week.

    Last time I did one on a car the belt cost about €25, fitting took me about 10 minutes and majority of that time was recording on paper the route the old one took to aid adding the replacement. All depends how embedded the belt is in the engine, some are pure simplicity to change.

    Insignia looks easy too, maybe €75 all in, assuming nothing else was damaged which it shouldn't have been...
