So me and the missus only discovered Mad Men on Netflix in the last month and had managed to reach season 4 when Netflix pulled the plug and took it down off the service today. Does anyone know anywhere else we can stream it? we have Prime and Sky and both don't appear to show it

Seriously? Is it because of the Roger Sterling blackface scene that it's been taken down?

No I don't think so, I think Netflix don't own the rights and Lionsgate have been saying they would take it down for some time, of course I was late to the table watching it but we are hooked

they do lose shows every month, wouldn't assume it's current affairs unless they have made a statement

Yes it was part of the usual shows which leave every so often. Looks like it was scheduled to be removed on June 9th.

Just bad timing for you unfortunately.

Yeah not the worst thing in the world - was hoping someone in this forum might now off hand where we could continue to stream it somewhere else

No worries, it's a great little website for checking where things are showing. So damn hard to keep track these days!

If you can't find it to stream, you could always try your local library. If they don't have it, you can order it from a different library. I've done this with a fair few shows that I haven't been able to watch, but you'd need a DVD player or at least have a DVD player on your computer.

Be sure to keep an eye on sites like this, where you can see if shows or movies are about to expire. It doesn't cover every eventuality, but can sometimes be a life-saver!

    Thats very handy!!

Yeah I kind of wish Netflix highlighted their expiring titles a bit more. Maybe have a "last chance" section on their apps.
They do include a very subtle "expires on #date" when you click into the individual title, but you are only going to see that warning when you go to actually watch the title, so its a bit pointless at that stage.

That newonnetflix site has saved my bacon a few times, pushing titles up on my "to watch" list when I realise they are about to disappear shortly.

Obviously I can do this, just thought there may be a few fans of the tv series who could recommend a good streaming platform theyve used to watch the show, simple as.
