Half price in China so look like nothing special.

I don't think these higher priced Aldi items are ever a bargain. They trade on people assuming that, if it's Aldi/Lidl it must be the best price.

    3 year warranty, though.

I'd also love to know is this worth getting?

I currently borrowed an Optoma worth €580 and we love it.

The lidl one has built in Bluetooth and wifi.

The Optoma has no wireless but not essential to me as I use a firestick, apple tv and PS4

The same model and spec from a legitimate retailer? A Philips 1080p native resolution, 4200 lumens projector for €135?

Different Neopix, but there is a basic model on Amazon Warehouse (used-good condition) for £60.23. Would guess that's where the above came from

The one Lidl are selling is available for <€200 as far as I can see

I'm sorry. This one from China is 2600 lumens. My bad.

But on Reddit they say that 4200 lumens will be for around 1k€ so this is probably wrong and could be less.

EAN 7640186960212 then probably 720p native resolution.

    NPX540 https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/NPX540_INT/neopix-prime-mini-projector
    Resolution 1280 x 720 pixel
    Resolution supported 1920 x 1080 pixels

https://www.visunext.co.uk/en/philips-neopix-prime.html - see how big it is in the picture at the end

Unfortunately Lidl have put their own name on it so impossible to know which model it actually is. Ranges from being over-priced to being a decent bargain depending on what actual model it is.

I'd be suspicious that it's the cheaper model when they've gone out of their way to give it a random name and make it difficult to research.

I just bought this this morning. Got the last one in the shop.

Looks to be the exact same as this one. Looks exactly the same. Same buttons, knobs and dials etc. including the specs, which is 4200 lumens and 1080p: https://www.conrad.com/p/philips-projector-neopix-ultra-lcd-ansi-lumen-4200-lm-1920-x-1080-hdtv-3000-1-grey-black-2197322

Haven't even turned it on. I just opened the box, saw that it would be too big for my bedside table, then closed the box. I thought it would be smaller.

Anyway, selling it if anyone is in the Cork area. Comes with Lidl receipt from a few hours ago.

How is Philips these days? Had a look on Amazon, and once you hit the £199/€220 mark, they all seem to be native 1080p. True, they do seem to be no-name brands, but what are Philips low end projectors like?

Its in a Philips box, no Lidl branding. Its a Philips NeoPix Ace part of the Philips NeoPix range. Its an ok machine for the price.

I didn't say it had Lidl branding, but the "NeoPix Ace" is exclusive to Lidl and googling it only brings up hits from Lidl.

It seems to be the same as the NeoPix Ultra NPX647.
