Me and my partner who is Italian have been in lockdown at my parents here in Ireland for almost 3 months now, but we have booked flights for Monday heading to Amsterdam and we are either going to head on to her home or move there if possible. But seeing that they aren't allowing tourists from Ireland yet is it worth going? Or should we head somewhere that is accepting us like Portugal? Has anyone actually left the country recently? If I'm looking to move there it's not like it's for tourism reasons ?

You can fly to any country that's accepting tourists.

My friend flew to the UK yesterday and no questions were asked at all, which I found strange

Also the Gardaí have now lost their power to force you to go back home if you're gone outside of your 20km etc so you can go to the airport and fly as normal, as long as the country is happy to take you.
