I lived in Galway for 6 years (in b4 blow-in) and had no idea there was a memorial there. Now PBP want to tear it down. I don't really care what happens either way, but the Judean People's Front always has to give their 2c.

Yes, we should be using this time for some self reflection, and eliminating racism in Ireland, but like seriously lads, there have to be more important places to start than this one.

I don't think people realise that they are a satellite party of the British SWP. The eventual goal of the Socialist Workers Party is the creation of an all-island socialist workers party, which is then a member of a wider internationalist Trotskyist collective.

Yeah I agree, this kind of silly stuff takes away from real issues.

SF and similar left-nationalist parties are well aware of it and hammer it in any chance they get, because they're competing for the same votes.
Other parts of the electorate can hardly keep up with the ceaseless splits, fronts and rebrandings on the far-left and have no idea.

The schadenfreude in Phoenix over the post-Brexit reckoning for PBP in Northern Irish constituencies they'd stolen from good honest republicans was very palpable.

PBP are just sound bite mouthpieces. They have no credible policies at all and no intention of ever , ever being on government.

They have conned the trackie professionally unemployed brigade that they represent them with promises of free stuff when they are in power. But it’s just a con to get elected to the gravey train and relax. Release sound bites to make it look like they are “sticking it to the man” And everyone is happy.
