    Hi.

Going to purchase a male and female Skimmia.
For pollination, do they have to be next to each other or can there be a small plant in between them?

    Thanks.

They can be up to a few metres apart ,as long as the pollinating insects can travel between them.
I have two about 5 metres apart and they seem to work well together.
