    Hello,
Would be grateful for any advice. I am looking to build 12mx4m brick structure comprising of a couple of shed/storage units and a home office. It will be replacing two old wooden sheds approx 7mx4m (water & elec connected). Due to the size I will need planning permission, but don't want to have to get an architect for what will be a very simple rectangular structure divided into three. Is there any service that prepares simple planning applications like this, or should I try myself, or should I just go the architect route.
    Thanks

You can get an engineer, architectural technician or draughtsman. You could potentially give it a go yourself but better off just getting someone to do it.

Another idea is you could get an architectural student. A student who's just finished up for the summer, can't go to America on a J1 or anywhere else and can't get a job due to the lockdown would love something small to work on. It would be a great learning experience for them and very cheap way of doing it for you. Somebody who's just finished 3rd, 4th of 5th year. Colleges usually have an end of year show around now you can get a few names and numbers from.

    Location might help too.
