Doubt they would honor it....the cream variety next to it was 2.99 for 2 kg...

Typo. It likely arrives as a 12 pack and is split to put on shelf. Tesco SELs look like this too sometimes.

Or did they sell it to you at €2.99 for 12?

They were selling these earlier in the month full price, maybe they've realised nobody actually wants to buy 24kg of flour and have to discount to shift the stock

What is the expiry date on them ?

Few years back a friend of mine who runs a small shops, got something similar from musgraves. 10 or 12 pack (2kg each) for about 5 euro. But they all had an expiry date of few days. Hence he gave us few packs.

Oh, are you saying it's just a labelling error?

Looks like that...it scans at 2.99 per 2 kg bag i think..irrespective if it was tesco he could just buy and get item free and double the difference back ? So that would be 33+64 ?

Was hoping it was a single 24kg bag, two of them and a broom handle be handy for a workout

Do Tesco still do that? Is it store specific or a national policy?

    Gentlemen the manager !

Indeed, might have been the end of a long day! Just happened that he was standing beside the til, wouldn’t have argued it, so was pleasantly surprised... have the feeling he had been told earlier in the day and it had slipped his mind.
